Turkey Feather Countdown Craft

Here is my countdown "craft" offering for Thanksgiving.  I decided to make my turkey feather countdown for just 10 days instead of the entire month before.  This way you can use it any year and it doesn't get crazy overwhelming with the feathers.  The idea is to remove a feather each day until Thanksgiving.

To make yours, just download all of the pieces, print, and cut them out.  I pieced together some scrapbook paper for my background and then lightly tacked the turkey on with one dot of glue on the bottom middle and mid-neck area.  Next, I just used some two-sided tape and put a small strip at the very top of each feather.  I slid the bottom of the feathers behind the turkey body base and then attached them by the top with the tape. This way I figure it will be easier to get the feathers off without ruining the entire thing.

Free-Printable links for blog subscribers are under each picture. You will need to make your own feet for the turkey.  Personal-use only, please.
