Easter Basket Re-Label: He is the Potter

This next one is based on Isaiah 64:8.  I totally planned on doing this one with the leftover cans of playdough that I used for Christmas gifts for the kiddos on my early intervention caseload.   I found the label I created to look pretty blah and unappealing on those containers, so I decided to make my own colorful playdough using this recipe from No Ordinary Moments. Here is her Kool-Aid Playdough Recipe.
I made three different colors for mine: aqua, green, and pink. The three flavors I used were: Ice Blue Raspberry Lemonade, Lemon-Lime, and Pink Lemonade.  I would have gotten them all in the generic brand if I could have, but found that most of the "kool" colors in the name brand only.
I followed the recipe to a "t" so I feel no real need to re-create another tutorial.  The only extra thing that I would add is to use bleached flour for more vibrant colors. Here is what mine looked like in the rough, straight out of the pan.
I then let it cool and rolled the colors into balls. Please make sure to let your dough cool well enough or your jar will sweat. I used a mason jar and just stacked the colors inside.  I would not recommend placing the dough in like a log. That was what I did at first, and I had a very hard time getting the dough out of the container.  If you form them into balls, all you have to do is dump the jar over and they will roll out.
Here are both of my jars together... Such pretty colors!
Once finished, I embellished the pink one with Pink Sorbet Twine from The Twinery.
The blue one has Caribbean Colored Twine.

Also included in the free-printable link are matching circles for the jar lids.  The best way to get your circle is to trace this part of the lid - not the one with the seal on it. Then adhere the circle to the lid with the seal.
