Un-Perfect Love
I feel that this statement best represents my marriage to my hubby at this point in our journey (5 years!) We definitely aren't perfect, although I did attain to be so for a while (like it could be attained!) But I think it all comes down to this: Christ is the only PERFECT ONE, who loved us with a love that was so perfect, no earthly person could ever come close. When I think of this, it makes me feel much better about my daily failings and flaws. I made this as a daily reminder to tell me to stop reaching for this perfection, but to look to God and know of his PERFECT LOVE for us.
I am so thankful for such an awesome hubby who puts up with all my crazies and everything else I never showed him before we were married! We aren't perfect, but our GOD IS!
