"SOAP" You Don't Get Pinched Part 2

I wanted to do a little something more in keeping with the soap theme for St. Patty's Day. I searched the web a bit and came across this image from My Own Road
I purchased the glycerin soap from Hobby Lobby along with the coloring. Following the directions on the bag and other tidbits from Jen's tutorial, I made some glycerin shamrock soap using the same shamrock molds I used for the DIY shamrock crayons.  All you have to do is melt the glycerin in the microwave.
To achieve my color I mixed two drops of blue and two drops of yellow. Here's what mine looked like.
I totally planned on adding some peppermint essential oil for fragrance, but I was totally out. After my glycerin was all melted,  I poured it into the mold and then just let them set. The bags says they are ready to go after an hour, but I waited 2.5 hours before removing mine.
Pretty Shamrock Soap!
Bagged and tagged with my Free-Printable Tag and Peapod and Cappuccino Twine from The Twinery!
I am definitely going to try this project again, but next time I plan on buying a more natural glycerin product that is free of sulfates and such. When it comes to making things that are "home-made", I feel better making sure the ingredients are the safest and best for you. So I found this place online called Brambleberry, that offers glycerin free of sulfates, which makes me very happy!
