Bet You've Never Seen This Before: {Footprint Sock Monkey}

I have been thinking for days on how to incorporate this into a footprint craft, and at last it has arrived. My Kiddo's nursery is all about some sock monkeys, so I thought we would make one to add to the decor.
To achieve this craft:
Paint the foot excluding the toes.  You will need to make sure your child stands instead of just pressing the paper to the foot.  A few trial runs done by just pressing ended up with a very anorexic looking sock monkey.  The goal is to get the foot as flat as possible.  Use two thumb rolls for the ears, not just prints.  Basically, you are just rolling the thumb from inside to out.  Once your print has dried, just embellish with mouth, button eyes, pom pom, and paper embellishments to for the ears and head.  If you need help making a pom-pom, there is a great tutorial here, from "Dana Made It".

While I am on the subject of super-cute print crafts, take a look at what my good friends Tracie and Andrea have been up to with the kiddos in their class. Too cute!
