For A "Berry" Awesome Teacher!
Here goes Day 3 of my Teacher Appreciation Series. I originally got the idea for this from Garnish. But I got to thinking of a cute way to "funprint". Yes, I am back to being "funprint" obsessed again. Have your child personalize this tag with their cute fingerprint strawberries. I basically just started with a pack of organic strawberries from the grocery store. I make it a point to buy organic strawberries since they are a member of the dirty dozen (pesticide loaded) when it comes to fruits and veggies.
I cut out a rectangle from some scrapbook paper and rounded the corners. I then affixed it to my package.
I then tied my bow just like you would on a present with one knot on the bottom.
I then flipped it back over and slid both ends back under before I tied the bow. This way the bow can serve as a kind of handle.
I then tied my bow and attached the tag. Please note that I added a scalloped backing to my tag for a little more "pop". The printable is just a regular circular tag. To make the strawberries, just do two fingerprints side by side like a heart. Then embellish with the greenery on top and little seeds all over.
I think this will be a super-cute gift for My Kiddo's teachers! Tag is available to blog subscribers for download here.
Tomorrow night I will be taking a break from this series and sharing a Mother's Day gift idea. Don't forget to enter our Skirt Purse Giveaway by Saturday!
