Uncle Sam Handprint: A Memorial Day Project
I came up with this cute little Memorial Day craft for The Kiddo and my Early Intervention Class. The Kiddo wasn't having it once again, so I will have to try again later. This handprint belongs to my little helper Danielle, who should really be on my payroll.
To make this print:
Paint the inner palm peach and the outer palm white. Paint the fingers white, omitting the thumb. Make the handprint face downwards with fingers close together. Dress it up with a hat. I found mine at Homemade Preschool. Draw on the face.
I made up a printable poster for blog subscribers. If your handprint is too tall to fit on the printable, just cut the text out and paste onto another sheet of paper. Printable link here.
Please be sure to honor those who gave so selflessly for the freedoms we enjoy today this Memorial Day! Take time out to thank and think!
