You Nailed It!

I am almost done with all of my Father's Day stuff! I have one more super-cute idea after this one to show you.  I hope to have it ready by Friday. If you haven't already noticed, I am trying to just post every other day.  This allows me to spread projects out over a few days and spend more time with the family.  This Dad's gift is just a Home Depot gift card dressed up.  I must admit that Home Depot already has a great card writer on staff.  I was pleasantly surprised at how creative their gift cards were, and from a home improvement store, nonetheless!  I already had this idea in my head though, so I decided to stick with it.  I chose the most plain looking gift card, so as not to detract from my design.
I came up with this little card.

And put it all together. I folded the gift card envelope outside in and then glued it to the card.  I then just made the screws look like nails by coloring a circle and using some glitter to make it look like metal.  I think metallic paint would have looked more dad-like, but oh, well!
