Over at TT&J + Bomb-Pop Playdough

Just wanted to let you all know that I will be over at Tatertots and Jello in the morning, sharing a super-cute summer traveling project.  I hope you will join me there after checking out this playdough party favor idea.

Bomb Pops are my all-time favorite popsicle, so I thought it fitting to do a little tribute to them.  This is a cute gift you can give to your younger guests at your summer parties.  Kids can take it home and pass the time on those hot summer days when they are stuck inside.

Here is how I did it:
I made the playdough with the same recipe I used last time.  You can find it here from No Ordinary Moments.  Here are the two Kool-Aid colors I used: Cherry and Ice Blue Raspberry Lemonade.  I just left the dough plain for white.
Once the dough was finished, I flattened a bit of each color out and wrapped it around a huge tongue depressor popsicle stick. Once I had my shape with all three colors, I used the tines of a fork to make indented lines like the actual popsicle. That was it! Just wrap that baby up really tight with some decorative cellophane to keep the air out and tie it with a bow.  Next time, I will bring you the free-printable tag to go with this.

Hope you will join me over at Tatertots and Jello!

Thanks,
