Little Snapshots from Our Adoption Celebration

I have decided that instead of giving up blogging totally, I will just limit my posts to once a week.  I feel that I have worked really hard to develop this blog and it hurts just to leave one of my "creations" so easily. This way I have a total week to get my post together and will not have to take away anything from my family time. Of course, I am still keeping my blog as an overflow of what is already happening in my life.  I won't be creating things that I won't personally use.  With that being said, here are a few snapshots from our Adoption Celebration this weekend.  Pictured above are the mini Mentos party favors.  I had originally planned to use full-sized Mentos, but they were way too expensive.  I ended up just ordering some mini Mentos from Oriental Trading Company and wrapping them in coordinating scrapbook paper.

Pictured below is my mantel with my Adoption Subway Art and Chevron Adoption Art that I created.  The Chevron Adoption art was based on this design that I found on Etsy.  I finished off the design with some turquoiuse and chocolate poms and pom garland from Party Poms on Etsy.  I usually just make these poms myself, but I have found that they never turn out as great as the ones I order.
Here is another view of the mantel...
A quick little view of some of the food table...
We had a stuffed animal adoption center complete with adoption certificates for the guests...
and stuffed puppy dog toys that I bought online from the Dollar Tree.
Of course, I couldn't help but display my New Years Art as well with a simple little floral arrangment.
We had a great time with all of our friends and family! The Little One was so sad when everyone left.  She played so hard with all of the other kiddos! We are truly blessed.

PLEASE NOTE: In an effort to spend more time with my family, I am NO LONGER taking any special requests for designs. You are welcome to use the free-printables that I have already provided via download links. God Bless!
