Handprint Obsession: Cat in the Hat

So, I was trying to think of something to do with my early intervention class to celebrate Dr. Seuss' Birthday and came up with this idea. The Cat in the Hat!  This handprint excludes the thumb like most of my recent ones. The inner core is white (lots of thick white) and the outer edge is black.  The fingers are both white and black with different amounts of black at staggered heights to resemble his fur.

I actually just pulled an image from a Google Image Search and cut it out for mine.
I was able to find some to color at 321 Coloring Pages.

I then made this bow-tie pattern for you to use!
I came across these cute little Seussical Prints from Stuff By Ash.
Super-Cute or What?
